Virgin Money

Overseeing a small, talented team of UX/UI Designers in partnership with the awesome folks at Virgin Money, I helped imagine and shape a great new online service that would help customers manage savings more easily.

Concepts, user journeys, prototyping and testing

As with any exciting new proposition, creating an excellent digital experience is paramount. Working both as Lead UX Designer and overseeing five practitioners across 3 workflows simultaneously, I worked closely with the business’ Product Owners to finesse proposed user journeys and create high-fidelity prototypes ahead of user testing and refinement.

Working collaboratively on web and app UI kits

Since the new product offering needed to have a personality all of its own, I worked with the team at Virgin Money to implement their UI kit across responsive web and app designs. At times, this meant exploring new concepts for areas that weren’t already catered for, before agreeing these with the Virgin Money team for inclusion in the UI kits.

The online tool was one of the first to apply new Virgin Money branding, allowing us to be bold.

Exploring user journeys and covering off happy/unhappy paths within prototypes was key to selling the work to senior stakeholders and creating a tool for user testing.
